African Blackwood is a dense wood which looks very much like Ebony though the blackwood is actually more a rich, deep chocolate brown when examined closely. It makes for a lovely wand. This wand has some especially interesting grain along the shaft.
You'll find this wand is buttery smooth. The weight of the dense wood is well balanced so its easy to handle. When you hold this wand there will be little doubt that you're holding something special.
Wand is hand turned from a solid piece of African Blackwood and fashioned in the special method of Frater RJ according to the "call" of the wood itself. It has been hand-rubbed with Teak Oil for lasting protection and finished with a museum grade wood wax. Barring abuse, this wand will certainly last you a lifetime.
