Hand-turned from a solid piece of dense Chechen and fashioned according to the "call" of the wood itself, this is a wonderful wand with good balance. While it doesn't show well in the photos, this wood has a subtle but intricate grain pattern that is very attractive.
As well as the multiple coats of hand-rubbed Tung oil, this wand was finished with a museum grade wax for lasting protection.
